UNIT OVERVIEW
Food plays an important role at special occasions. This unit investigates the significance and reasons for celebrating, ways to prepare foods for small and large -scale catering occasions., what to consider when planning food for special events, and the importance of presentation and display of foods. Students will follow a workflow plan and use correct food-handling skills to organise and prepare foods for a variety of fun and interesting events.
